We decided to add to our debt by buying Andrew a new car yesterday. 2010 Ford Focus SE. Grey outside/charcoal interior. 

I"ve been lazy here.

We moved to Reston a few weeks ago. I love it here. Dreading the first mortgage payment though. The house is still messy, there are a lot of boxes. But, we got the sofa into the basement...just had to take it apart some. Haha.

Spent today making curtains for the house. Thankfully the fabric store is having a sale on home dec fabric.

Until we go to closing.

PS...bought dishwasher detergent for the 1st time today. I feel special.

Until we go to settlement on our house. So much to do...so little time.

Happy Birthday T!!!! I'm posting from the airport just for you!!!

Made it back from Rhode Island. I'm not much for writing much but here goes:

Friday: got in at 430pm, went to dinner in Providence that had Greek food. Yummy.

Saturday: Rhode Island School of Design Art Gallery. It was great. They have this 9 foot tall wooden Buddha. I also loved the Impressionism rooms.

Sunday: Went to Newport. My friend is in the 88th Army Band and I went along while he played. I got to walk around the area, see the ships in the port, and then listen to the Band do a traditional set of Marches and then a set of Jazz music. Bonus: no sunburn.

Monday: Got back at 230pm. I wish I was able to stay longer.

I also found out that in Rhode Island, they don't sell beer in the grocery store. You have to go to the Liqour store....which I also found out is called a 'Package Store'...or the Packey.

Three days turn around time before I fly to Indiana on Friday.

Off to Rhode Island! Be back Monday evening!

Until a trip to Rhode Island to see a friend I haven't seen in almost 10 years.

Is anyone else going to Video Games Live on July 10th at Wolf Trap? We are thinking about getting lawn seats.

It seems most of you know already I've been asked to sit on a panal for a Conference I am attending in July.

For those who don't know: I've been asked to sit on an Advisory panal for Best Buddies in July. It is an honor to be asked. I am nervous and excited at the same time.

School's....out...for..summer!!!!!

My sister turns 22 today. Wow.
